The Captains Log 25/2

Solar System: Unknown

Starbase: Gaia

The POS’s are up and  the reactions are underway and money should start flowing into my pockets soon enough. It was a bit of a hassle to get the POS’s up, not because it was difficult to do so but because it was so time consuming in getting the modules  there as I had to haul in some 500k m3 of assets into my wormhole and then getting all the modules up and running which took a lot of time. All up I have anchored

3 x Control towers

3 x Corporate hanger arrays

12 x Silos

4 x Coupling arrays

2 x Simple reactors

2 x Complex reactors

1 x Ship maintenance array

9 x shield harders

60 x defence modules.

It was also made longer by the fact that I can only anchor a single tower per day. However It is all over now, so all I have to worry about is hauling minerals and fuel.

At the moment I only have a couple of days worth of moon minerals to react so for the next couple of weeks the POS’s will be operating on a shoestring budget as I get Fullerides, sell, them buy more minerals and react them together and then get more fullerides to sell and buy fuel. Once I have enough ISK to buy a stockpile of minerals and fuel the whole operation will run allot smoother without constant attention from me.

When I first started colonising this system it had plenty of combat sites in it. However, a team of five Drakes has emptied the system of all the combat sites leaving behind only the ladar and gravimetric sites, which is sort of disappointing as I wanted to shoot some sleepers. On the plus side scanning is fair bit easier with out all that clutter. The grav sites though will come into use as I plan on building some Battleships in here to knock any intruders around. Using battleships will give me a large advantage as only Battlecruisers or small will be able to enter my system.

Here are some pretty pictures of my POS’s.

Here we have a image from which the positions of all three of my POS’s can be seen.

Gaia, as you can see is located within the planetary rings of is planet making for a nice scene.

Terra Mater overlooking the gas giant. Gaia is located on the left hand side of the rings.

Ninhursag and the moon it orbits.
